RaguSometimes being a kid can be tough...you don't have much power, and are constantly being told what to do by teachers, parents and basically everyone else.  Ragu understands that even kids have rough days (no matter how good we think they have it) and has created a campaign to help those bad days get a little better.

The next time your kid has a tough one, try giving them a hearty meal made with Ragu.  Ever wonder what your child or family might look like in a Ragu commercial?  Well now, it's super easy (and free) to find out with the Facebook/Android/iPhone "Give 'Em Ragu" app.

Give 'Em Ragu App

In order to make your own personal Ragu video, simply visit the Facebook app or download the "Give 'Em Ragu" app from the Android Marketplace or iTunes store.  Next, select up to 7 photos that you'd like to use to illustrate your child's bad day.  These photos can be uploaded directly from your computer, from your Facebook account, or even Instagram.

For my daughter's video, I decided to choose our recent Halloween photos of Riley dressed as The Cat in the Hat and my husband and I dressed as Thing 1 and Thing 2.  Now while Riley enjoyed our costume caper that day, I know that as the years go by, those pictures will become more and more embarrassing until eventually I might be able to bribe her with them!

Ragu Facebook App

After I uploaded the pictures to the Ragu app, I had to give a brief description of what the pictures were all about.  The reason for the description is that Ragu has a theme song it puts with each video.  Your description will help match what lyrics Ragu uses for the picture portion of the commercial.  Seconds later, our video was ready to roll!

Ragu iPhone App

As you can see from the picture above, Ragu gives you many ways to upload or share your video after it's created.  I chose to upload it to my YouTube account for easy embedding on my blog.  You can also email, tweet or Facebook post your video with the click of a button.  Sound like fun?  Beware, you might easily spend half an hour trying different picture combinations because the "Give 'Em Ragu" app is so easy to use and the videos are created in a flash.

Disclosure:  I received compensation from Circle of Moms in order to facilitate my review.  This feature is based on my own personal experiences with this item and is completely honest and objective.
I'm a former 7th grade Science teacher turned stay-at-home mom that lives in Houston, Texas. I am married to my college sweetheart and have a beautiful daughter named Riley, who definitely keeps me on my toes! I am also involved in starting a small business which would both manufacture and sell an invention that I've patented, called Toothpaste 2 Go. I love interacting with my readers and hope to learn as much about you as you learn about me!
