With summer, comes skimpier clothes and more figure revealing fashions, which is fine for those with a perfect hourglass figure, but can spell disaster for the rest of us.  I've always been pretty happy with my body, all things considering, but there's one thing I've never been born with and probably will never have...CURVES!

Since achieving an hourglass figure is definitely at the top of my body wishlist, I decided to try a firm control garment from Vedette Shapewear.  Vedette offers four levels of compression in their garments and the firm control provides the most support.  This is achieved through a combination of cotton, nylon and natural hevea latex for results that are nothing short of amazing.  As soon as I saw the Veronique polka-dot bodysuit in magenta, I knew that this would be the shapewear garment to solve my curveless body issues.

The Veronique comes complete with a built-in, slightly padded underwire bra as well as some serious compression panels in the midsection area.  It has a hook and eye closure in the crotch area for easy access when you need to use the bathroom as well as adjustable bra straps for just the right lift.  It literally took me about 5 minutes to get on, for I had to try and squeeze my hips and behind through the super tight waist area in order to wear this garment.

After much tugging, sweating and maybe even a little weight loss, I have to admit that the results were worth it.  I was one hot chick and actually had some ridiculous curves all of a sudden!  I kind of reminded myself of Jessica Rabbit for the girls were lifted up and out, the waist was really cinched in with no rolls or lumps showing and my derriere looked bigger due in part to my waist appearing smaller!  I looked so good that I was almost brave enough to post pictures of myself in this, but then modesty got the best of me.  :blush:

I also loved how well-made and durable the Veronique shapewear was.  The stitching and seams were flawless and the material itself appeared to be of the highest quality.  Vedette shapewear is also extremely sexy looking on its own and has all of the finishing touches to pass for lingerie, if you're so inclined.
