Ivory Soap "I want my clean as real as Ivory.  It's gotta be 99.44.  I want my clean as real as Ivory.  Nothing less, nothing more."  Anyone out there remember this famous jingle?

Even thirty years after I originally heard this catchy tune, I still remember every word.  Since 1879, Ivory has been the gold standard when it comes to clean.  Though their formula has changed a bit over the years to include a wide range of body cleansers such as body wash, hand soap and facial soap, one thing remains constant.  Ivory is a brand that America relies on to deliver a pure and simple clean.  Keep reading to learn more!

Ivory products are built on one philosophy: no dyes or heavy perfumes, just a 99.44% pure and simple clean.  I've used Ivory soap for most of my life because it's affordable and works great to deliver a fresh, clean feeling that doesn't irritate even the most sensitive skin.  It also doesn't dry my skin out thanks to the addition of the ingredient, glycerin, which subsequently makes the soap less soluble in water and last longer than before.

My family was sent four Ivory products to try: Original Ivory Bar Soap, Aloe-Scented Ivory Bar Soap, Original Ivory Scented Body Wash and Lavender-Scented Ivory Body Wash.  I liked the new aloe-scented bar soap which worked in the same manner as the original Ivory soap, but with a cleaner fragrance.

My daughter couldn't seem to get enough of the Lavender-Scented Ivory Body Wash and loved how well it lathered up on her loofah.  The lavender fragrance was perfect to help calm her down before bedtime and the body wash applied to a loofah was easy for her to use to wash herself.

Ivory bar soaps come in Ivory Classic, Ivory Aloe and Ivory Lavender, which combines the classic Ivory gentleness with light, mild ingredients and fragrances. The Ivory Moisturizing Body Wash comes in all three of these fragrances, as well as Ivory Water Lily.  If you're looking for a tried and true cleaning product that delivers a pure and simple freshness, then be sure to try one of the many soaps from Ivory!
