Out to Eat with KidsMy family is a total bunch of dine-out junkies!  Actually, eating out at our local restaurant is one of those little luxuries we all look forward to.  I love to be able to eat yummy food that I didn't have to go grocery shopping for, didn't have to cook and don't have to clean up after.

For a family of three, it's also fairly cost-effective too.  Michael and I rarely eat out without a coupon and we always either share dishes or take plenty home to eat for lunch or dinner the next day.

Since Riley came along though, we've found it harder and harder to find kid-friendly restaurants that are both healthy and economical. That's why I'm glad to have stumbled upon a great database of family restaurants at Out to Eat with Kids.  Keep reading to learn more!

Going Out to Eat with Kids Just Got Better

Out to Eat with KidsBack in 2010, mom and social media consultant Jennifer Bilbro, had finally reached her breaking point.  She was tired of always overpaying for kids' meals when dining out and was determined to do something about it.  The result was Out to Eat with Kids, a nationwide directory of information about free and reduced-priced kids' meals.

Out to Eat with Kids also lists those restaurants with healthful and nutritious children's menus.  Now it's finally possible to locate a healthy and economical kid-friendly restaurant quickly and easily.  I find the Out to Eat with Kids restaurant search tool invaluable for it helps Michael and I decide where best to eat.  We can search restaurants near our home, his office or anywhere in between.

I'm thankful that now I can automatically weed out those restaurants that only offer children fried chicken, pizza or grilled cheese sandwiches too.  Just look for any restaurant that carries the "Kids Live Well National Restaurant Association" logo for dining establishments that offer healthy children's menus.  All of this information is also available while on the go...just download the free mobile app on either iTunes or the Android Market.

Try it for yourself to see just how easy it is to find a great, kid-friendly restaurant in your area that won't break the bank.  Thanks to Out to Eat with Kids, you just might find yourself hanging up the apron for the night and having someone else wait on you and your family!
