Colossal Christmas Countdown: It's Christmas Eve!

Now, that winter is officially here, you may be shopping for a new coat or jacket for your little one.  Since they grow so fast when they're tikes, a winter coat is an annual necessity, for there's usually no way they can wear the same jacket two years in a row. I'm always on the hunt for a winter jacket which looks just as cute and snuggly as Riley and at Rothschild Kids, they have a wide variety of affordable coats which do just that!  Recently, I had the opportunity to review the Sporty Snowflake Winter Jacket in Raspberry.  Keep reading to learn all about it!

I was thrilled when I received the Sporty Snowflake Winter Jacket in Raspberry from Rothschild Kids!  This coat had so many interesting and adorable details, including an active fit guaranteed to keep up with the tot on the move!  I adored the super bright raspberry, orange and white colors of this jacket and thought they looked well together.

The tri-color stripes that raced down the sleeves, the center of the hood and even outlined the pockets, gave this jacket an overall sporty feel.  The quilted detailing that ran throughout also reminded me of a classic ski jacket design.

The Sporty Snowflake Winter Jacket also came complete with a matching orange fleece scarf, as well as a cute orange and white fleece hat.  The hat had a wonderful white fleece pom-pom on top to complete the look.  There was even small snowflake embroidery on both the jacket and the hat to tie these two garments together with the snowflake theme.

I wish the orange fleece scarf would have also had the snowflake detail on it, as well as a way to secure it to the jacket itself, so that it didn't get lost.  A few small loops at the base of the neck of the jacket would have been perfect to run the scarf through, so that it stayed attached to the jacket.

The hood was removable and easily zipped on and off.  When the hood was off, this jacket donned a high neck with white faux fur lining on the inside.  This faux fur was super soft and would definitely feel good against your skin on cold, blustery days.  There was even an orange knit cuff on the inside of each arm to help seal off your child from the frigid winter air.

Riley really liked the Sporty Snowflake Winter Jacket and will be more than happy to wear it when she grows into the 4T size we reviewed.  Her favorite part though was the hat, which she has worn throughout December and absolutely loves!  I can't wait to dress Riley up in this beautiful winter jacket, for I know she will be adequately protected from the elements, and will look cute as a button too!

Of course, the selections from Rothschild Kids are also extremely easy on the pocketbook, which makes this jacket a definite winner in my book!
