Innovative Toys, Inc.Being a kid can be a scary thing at times.  They are so small and defenseless and there is so much that goes on around them that they don't understand.  Small children are also well known for having very vivid and active imaginations, which is a good thing...until the lights go out.

ScareMeNots

The ScareMeNots are a lovable gang of protectors that stays with your child at night and wards off any monsters or creepy-crawlies that could be lurking about.  This strange cast of characters is almost as scary as what could be hiding in the closet, so they are good at frightening away other monsters.

There are eight wonderful alien-looking creatures which will sleep next to your child at night and make them feel extra safe.  The ScareMeNots come in both a full-size plush as well as a travel-size so that your child can always have their favorite character with them, no matter where they are.

One of the things which really make the ScareMeNots unique and practical is their super long tail which has two pieces of Velcro on it, forming a loop.  This extra long looped tail makes it so that your child's ScareMeNot can hang around wherever it is most needed.  For instance, if your child feels there's a monster living in their closet, they can hang the ScareMeNot on the doorknob.

If they're afraid of what's under the bed, the ScareMeNot can be hung around the bedpost or the tail can even be shoved under the mattress, so that the ScareMeNot dangles and spooks the monsters out from under the bed.

Riley had the chance to review Protector Patty and boy, was she a hit!  Riley loved how Patty resembled a dinosaur and she also loved counting Patty's antenna-like eyes.  Riley really liked the long tail too and when I showed her how she could carry Patty around by wrapping her tail around her wrist, Riley never put her down!

The ScareMeNot is now Riley's new best friend and goes everywhere with her.  Several times, I even heard Riley telling Protector Patty that she loved her!

Does This Look Like a Happy Girl or What?

If you have a child who becomes a little afraid at times of the monsters lurking under their bed or in their closet, then by all means, get them a ScareMeNot.  I think this is a terrific idea that can definitely give your child a more peaceful and restful night's sleep, for now the ScareMeNots will have their monsters on the run!
