VIOlightI hate to do it, but I'm going to have to begin this product review with one HIGHLY DISTURBING fact:  Did you know that in recent studies, smart phones, mp3 players, headphones, and other handheld devices are covered with more germs and bacteria than the bottom of your shoe, doorknobs...or even a TOILET SEAT?!?   :puke:

Okay, that was enough to seriously bother me!  It's not that I'm a germophobe or anything, but I shudder to think that I am putting a toilet seat in my purse, pressing it up to my face and touching all over it several times per day.  YUCK!

VIOlight has been safely and effectively sanitizing toothbrushes for years with their germicidal UV bulb technology, and so I jumped at the chance to review their new UV Cell Phone Sanitizer, which promises to eliminate up to 99% of germs and bacteria.  Keep reading to learn more about the nifty little product that just may be your saving grace this cold and flu season!

I reviewed the UV Cell Phone Sanitizer from VIOlight, which retails for $49.95, but is currently on sale for $29.51 with FREE SHIPPING.

VIOlight UV Cell Phone Sanitizer

The battery-operated (3 "AA" batteries, not included) VIOlight UV Cell Phone Sanitizer eliminates up to 99% of germs and bacteria on your cell phone and other small electronic devices.  It accommodates most flat devices including cell phones, smart phones, PDAs, mp3 players, earbuds and Bluetooth headsets.  VIOlight's germicidal UV light - the same one used in hospitals - eliminates many common household germs, bacteria and viruses.

Using the VIOlight UV Cell Phone Sanitizer couldn't be easier!  Simply install 3 "AA" batteries and follow the steps below:

  • Place your device in the UV chamber
  • Close the lid to start sanitizing
  • The pulsing blue glow lets you know it's working
  • In under 5 minutes the UV light shuts off automatically and your device is sanitized!
You never have to worry about replacing the germicidal UV light bulb in this sanitizer either, for the bulb is guaranteed to last a lifetime!

In the age of technology that we currently live in, washing our hands just isn't enough to prevent getting sick, especially during cold and flu season.  Now, with the VIOlight UV Cell Phone Sanitizer, you can safely and effectively sanitize most of your portable, handheld electronic devices and stop 99% of germs and bacteria in their tracks.  I couldn't have been more thrilled with how quick and easy the UV Cell Phone Sanitizer was to use and I even liked the way it looked while it graced my kitchen counter.

This little device has a permanent residence in our home, right next to our family's charging station.  I highly suggest you welcome the VIOlight UV Cell Phone Sanitizer into your home too for an extra level of protection against those nasty germs which will make you ill.
