Il Bere Wine CharmsDuring the holidays, we all like to enjoy the company of family and friends and make merry.  For many of us, that includes cracking open a bottle of our favorite vintage to share.  Of course, being able to identify which glass is yours can be difficult when they all look alike and that's why wine charms were invented.

Typically, wine charms were designed to slide around the stem of a wine glass.  But what should you do if you weren't drinking out of a wine glass or other stemmed container?  Il Bere Wine Charms came up with a nifty solution for that...magnetic wine charms which adhere to the glass itself, so that they can be used on almost any drinking glass.

I reviewed the following wine charm sets from Il Bere Wine Charms:

Season's Greetings, which retails for $14.99.

Vintage Mixed 1, which retails for $25.00.

Vintage Wine Charms from Il Bere Get Your Drink Noticed...and Identified

Wine charms are not new by any stretch – Chrissy and Marnette, the founders of Il Bere, wanted to do something different than the standard stem-secured charm. Their desire was to create something original, yet classic. The vintage earring look was something the two saw in Venice, Italy.

So while playing with their new purchases, they attached the earrings with their clip to the rim of their wine glasses.  The result is the first ever vintage wine charm, which sits beautifully on the side of the wine glass or uniquely on the base of the wine glass stem.

Il Bere Wine Charms

I really enjoyed the wine charms from Il Bere because they were so beautiful and yet so functional.  Now it's finally possible to identify any drinking glass, from a beer stein to a high ball with their unique magnetic wine charms.  While they looked gorgeous, I must admit that at times, the magnet didn't quite want to behave.  Because magnets can slip and slide a little, especially on a slick surface such as glass, I had a hard time getting the Season's Greetings charms to stay straight and in the upright position.

That's why I would highly recommend purchasing a design from Il Bere which looked the same throughout and didn't include writing.  For instance, the Vintage Mixed 1 style was simply stunning and because the design was uniform, I never had an issue with these charms twisting or looking crooked.

I think the Il Bere vintage wine charms are a wonderful gift idea for that special wine connoisseur on your shopping list, a favorite co-worker or especially as a cherished hostess gift.
