Ruth's Chris Steak HouseI can't stress enough how important it is to have that special time with your spouse away from the kids.  Yes, I'm talking about a bonafide date night!  My husband and I are best friends and thoroughly enjoy each other's company.  There's no one in the world I'd rather hang out with more than him, but having a small child means that those days of uninterrupted togetherness have drastically decreased.

My family loves going out to eat at our neighborhood restaurants, but with Riley in tow there's still the business of keeping her entertained until the food arrives, making sure she eats what we put on her plate while not making a huge mess, etc.  All of that can seriously cut down on any adult conversation my husband and I may be trying to have.

Ruth's Chris Steak HouseThat's why I'm thrilled to have the chance to go on a remarkably memorable date night with my husband to Ruth's Chris Steak House!  Ruth's Chris is the place that showed the world how great a steak can be.  Their steaks are carefully selected and aged for tenderness, then cut thick to ensure juiciness.

Seared to perfection at 1800 degrees and seasoned simply with salt, black pepper and a touch of parsley, because a steak like this needs nothing else.  Topped with fresh butter that sizzles seductively on your plate, announcing the arrival of a great steak.

Ruth's Chris Steak House will be pairing with the Duckhorn Wine Company on Thursday, March 1st to bring you a phenomenal night of amazing wines and innovative cuisine.  Attendees will get to sample the US debut of Duckhorn's newest vintage, PARADUXX, as well as delight in a 5-course meal that includes the following:

toasted almonds, tossed with Champagne vinaigrette
