Recently, I had the opportunity to head to New York City to attend BlogHer '12, which of course meant that this Houston girl was airport bound!  Since I've always heard that packing light is one of the many keys to success at BlogHer, I was determined to look sharp, yet not overpack.

From the moment I laid eyes on this piece of luggage, I was impressed by the attention to detail and overall design of this carry-on garment bag.  As you can see in the picture above, even the low-profile neoprene handle was top-notch, thanks to the sturdy rivets and embroidered logo.  It was also very comfortable to carry and felt like it molded to my hand.

The picture above shows the bottom of the garment bag, including the rugged zipper and zipper pulls.  I definitely gave the WalkAbout Lite 4 garment bag a workout by stuffing quite a lot into it, but these self-repairing nylon zippers never failed to keep my contents under wraps.  The thick rubber skid guards on the bottom of this carry-on ensured that it sit well and not actually come into direct contact with the floor.

I love the side view of the Travelpro WalkAbout Lite 4 Carry-On Rolling Garment Bag, for the Rollaboard wheels reminded me of tiny car wheels with rims.  They add to the overall style and sophistication of this bag and can even be replaced, if necessary.  The sealed, ball-bearing inline skate wheels of the Rollaboards use high quality materials for long-lasting durability.

I also adored the identification card holder of this garment bag.  Now, you no longer have to worry about keeping an extraneous luggage tag affixed to your carry-on, for Travelpro thought to have a high-quality ID holder built right in!  The telescopic handle is also a real piece of craftsmanship with two stops at 38" and 43" for a comfortable roll at different heights.  Of course, with a quick click of the button on top, it can be stored away completely in its own zippered compartment.

The spacious front zippered pocket of the WalkAbout Lite 4 Carry-On Rolling Garment Bag is just perfect for storing laptops, newspapers, magazines, books, coats, sweaters or any other last minute items.

Once unzipped, the features (and pockets) of this garment bag abound.  You can see here that there's mesh pockets for storing shoes, belts, hats and other accessories, as well as smaller mesh pockets for toiletries.  There literally was a place for everything in this garment bag, so that your clothes didn't end up wrinkled and you could remain organized while flying the friendly skies.

Of course, my favorite feature of the Travelpro WalkAbout Lite 4 Carry-On Rolling Garment Bag was the lightweight removable garment suiter which helps prevent wrinkling of blouses and shirts and can even double as a packing divider between clean clothes and laundry, shoes and toiletries.  The patented padded foam bar makes sure your garments stay in place while you travel so that you look fresh and pressed once you arrive.
