BoonBath time is one of Riley's favorite times of the day, for she can retreat to her water wonderland and play with a whole new set of toys!  Unfortunately for us, cleaning and storing her bath toys is not an easy job.  There are so many little pieces which each need to be rinsed off everyday and put in an area so that they can dry sufficiently.

Bath toys which aren't cleaned and allowed to dry, accumulate soap scum and even mold rather quickly and are then too nasty for your children to play with anymore.  Thankfully, Boon, Inc. has invented a terrific item, called the Bug Pod, which organizes your child's bath products, helps to clean their toys as well as store them in an area where they can dry.  The Bug Pod also looks super cute too!  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Bug Pod Bath Toy Scoop in Pink and the Splat Bath Toy from Boon, Inc., which retail for $34.99 and 7.99, respectively.

VTech ToysThere are definitely two things I know Riley will want to do everyday.  One, she will certainly want to watch Elmo and friends on Sesame Street and two, she will want to play with her V.Reader.  Riley absolutely loves the Word Whacker video game as well as the software titles we downloaded onto her V.Reader's memory card (not included).

As many of you have read about in an earlier blog post of mine, V.Reader offers you SIX FREE downloadable titles once you register your V.Reader and download the free Learning Lodge Navigator software.  Both Riley and I have enjoyed these six additional interactive storybook downloads.

So, of course I was thrilled when VTech sent me a $20 gift card with which to purchase their premium storybook downloads...all centered around Elmo and Sesame Street!  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the following premium Sesame Street storybook downloads from VTech, for use with the VTech V.Reader:

Listen to Your Fish

Watch Out for Banana Peels

Let's Go! With Elmo and Friends

My First Trip to the Farm

My daughter Riley, who just turned two, is on the verge of moving out of the crib and into her very own twin-sized bed!  The thought is both exhilarating and scary all at the same time...for both of us.  The one thing I do know for certain is that I want her to have a super cute and adorable bedding set to help get her excited about the new transition.

I searched all over the internet and found several wonderful solutions, but once I spied the Gardners Friend Quilt Set from American Kids Bedding, I knew this was the one Riley would love!  American Kids Bedding generously allowed me to review it too.  Keep reading to find out more!

I reviewed the Gardners Friend Quilt Set (Twin-Size) from American Kids Bedding, which retails for $95.99, but is currently on sale for $89.99.

WeeRide

Colossal Christmas Countdown:

76 Days Until Christmas!

Autumn is a beautiful time of year here in Texas!  The weather is absolutely gorgeous now and it makes you want to spend every moment outside.  I love to ride my bike, but since Riley isn't even two years old yet, we can't exactly go bike riding together.  So what can I do when my husband and I want to jump on our bikes, have an impromptu picnic by the lake in our neighborhood and soak up this cool, crisp air and warm sunshine?

That's where WeeRide comes in!  The WeeRide product line specializes in making your tots just as mobile on your bicycle as you are.  I was fortunate enough to review the WeeRide Convertible Coach, which acts as a bicycle carrier as well as a jogging stroller!  Keep reading to find out more!

I reviewed the WeeRide Convertible Coach from Kent International, Inc., which retails for $129.99.

FandanglingRiley was the kind of baby who was absolutely enamored with her baby mobile.  We used to have the Fisher-Price rain forest musical mobile attached to her crib and she would watch it so intently.  It would always do the trick to help calm her down and lull her to sleep.  Therefore, it saddened me when the mobile had to come down rather quickly.

The instructions had said that the mobile was considered dangerous to a baby that could crawl and so in just a few short months, Riley lost her mobile.  That's where Fandangling comes in!

With this nifty little invention, any child can have a really cool mobile (and neat room decoration) by simply attaching these small stuffed toys to the ends of their ceiling fan blades.  I just had to try out the Safari Fandangling in Riley's room!

The Fandangling costs $19.95 + $3 for shipping and handling.  They also offer a 10-day money back guarantee, if you're not completely satisfied.
