Review - Mohawk Home ~ Memory Foam Bath Mat ~ Dry Your Tootsies in Luxury and Comfort

Rate this post

Mohawk HomeNow that the holiday season is practically here, I'm doing the annual dash around my home trying to add some luxurious touches here and there that will make my guests feel more comfortable during their stay.  I've purchased some new linens for both the bathroom and guest bedroom, but soon realized that our tired old bath mat wasn't attractive, nor all that safe, anymore.

Finding a quality bath mat can sometimes be difficult.  I've purchased bath mats in the past based strictly on their looks and have always ended up being disappointed.  These mats either slipped easily when stepped on, which is extremely dangerous, or didn't dry quickly and began to have a very unique and unpleasant odor before long.

Mohawk Home has created an entire line of bath mats made from a super soft and cushioned memory foam material, which is supposed to dry fast and feel wonderful under your feet.  I recently had the chance to review one of their large, tranquility memory foam bath mats in chocolate.  Keep reading to learn all about it!

I reviewed the Tranquility Memory Foam Bath Mat in Chocolate (24" x 38") from Mohawk Home, which retails for $59.99, but is currently on sale for $29.99.

Mohawk Home Tranquility Memory Foam Bath Mat

The Tranquility Memory Foam Bath Mat from Mohawk Home comes in a myriad of sizes and colors, all in the basket-weave pattern.  This large basket-weave design adds an element of decorative interest to the mat itself, yet is neutral enough to blend in well with any bathroom's decor.  I had the opportunity to review the chocolate brown 24" x 38" memory foam bath mat and have to admit that I loved both the color and the size!  The deep, rich brown matched my guest bathroom perfectly and the larger mat's size really worked well in front of our bath tub.  I definitely prefer the look of the larger bath mat over the more common, smaller sizes.

Of course, the thick, plush memory foam itself takes center stage, for it is truly heaven on your feet.  I was delighted at the finished edges of the Tranquility Memory Foam Bath Mat, for I've had mats in the past which frayed after a few washings and then looked rather ratty.  I also was thrilled at the durable non-skid backing of the Mohawk Home bath mat, since safety should always factor in to any purchase.  Check out the following video to see the Mohawk Home Tranquility Memory Foam Bath Mat at work in my home!

This memory foam bath mat is covered in 100% Microdenier Polyester, which dries quickly and feels super soft.  So far, I haven't noticed any foul, moldy odors coming from this bath mat either, which is always a plus since bath mats get damp so often.  Cleaning this memory foam mat is super easy too.  When the time comes, simply toss it in the washer and dryer and enjoy a clean, fresh, fluffy bath mat once again!

If you are looking for a luxuriously comfortable bath mat which dries quickly, is easy to care for and comes in a variety of colors and sizes, then I highly recommend the Tranquility Memory Foam Bath Mat from Mohawk Home.  Both your feet and your nose will thank you for your purchase and your holiday visitors will feel like they're stepping on a cloud!
