Idylle ClothingBefore having Riley, I used to be quite the fashion plate.  I was a 7th grade teacher and prided myself on keeping up with the times and looking my best.  (Believe me, kids will be brutally honest and tell you how you REALLY look, whether you want to hear it or not!  :big grin:)  But now that I'm a stay-at-home mom, I have to admit that I've lost my touch with fashion a bit.  I just have so many other things to do these days, that I find myself swapping "cool" for comfortable.

Thankfully, Idylle Clothing is on top of what's new and fresh and have created an entire line of thermals, sweaters and tees with unique hand-drawn elements that give them a whimsical, quirky feel.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Suzani Circle Aged Black Thermal from Idylle Clothing, which retails for $64.00.

Idylle Clothing Thermals

Starting off initially as a men's humor tee shirt company, Idylle Clothing quickly evolved into what is now an internationally known women's fashion brand. Every element of the company has been "hands on" from the beginning: the photography, catalogs, trade show booths, have all been created and built by the owners to keep with the cohesive look and feel of Idylle.  Idylle Clothing constantly strives for quality and prides itself on the unique and whimsical graphics that it has always been known for.

The Idylle girl is a confident young woman who is fanciful, unique, and eclectic. She doesn’t have to wear what her friends are wearing. She enjoys a vintage concept to her wardrobe, while still being relevant to modern trends. She is lovely and romantic. She is Idylle.

The Suzani Circle Aged Black Thermal that I received is extremely unique in that it is very feminine and trendy and will definitely get you noticed.  It has a deep v-neck that makes "the girls" look great and the off-center Suzani Circle pattern that overlaps onto the sides and arms of the shirt are especially awesome.  This thermal reminded me of an updated nod to the classic tie-dye styles of the '60s, but with a fun, feminine feel all its own.

The fit on the Suzani Circle Aged Black Thermal was a little unexpected at first.  The snap-accented sleeves were extremely long and the thermal itself was also on the long side, covering my behind completely.  Since I'm not one to tuck in a thermal, I decided to make the length of both the torso and arms work for me.  I paired this thermal with some jet black leggings and a funky, wide belt.  Now it looks more like a tunic and definitely more trendy and stylish.  Next, I rolled the sleeves up once and then turned them back on themselves for a French cuff look.  Worn with a pair of tall black boots, the Idylle thermal makes me look like one hot mama!  :whew:

Idylle Clothing Sweaters

You may even notice that someone as trendy as Steven Tyler has been spotted wearing Idylle Clothing.  Yes, Idylle is a women's fashion brand, but Steven knows what he likes and apparently, he likes Idylle!  If you want to take your mom status up a few cool points, then by all means, shop the wide selection of unique, French-inspired artwork fashions from Idylle.  Just don't be surprised if your daughter tries to borrow them!

Disclosure: I received the Suzani Circle in Aged Black Thermal Shirt from Idylle Clothing in order to facilitate my review. No other compensation was received. This product review is based on my own personal experiences with this item and is completely honest and objective.
I'm a former 7th grade Science teacher turned stay-at-home mom that lives in Houston, Texas. I am married to my college sweetheart and have a beautiful daughter named Riley, who definitely keeps me on my toes! I am also involved in starting a small business which would both manufacture and sell an invention that I've patented, called Toothpaste 2 Go. I love interacting with my readers and hope to learn as much about you as you learn about me!
