This scooter is perfect for anyone 8 years of age and up weighing less than 200 pounds. The advanced Rockboard technology allows you to shred the pavement in Rockboarding mode, or quickly transform your Rockboard Scooter into a low-profile kick scooter, so that you're basically getting 2 scooters for the price of 1.
I was so excited to receive the Original Rockboard Scooter to review that I didn't mention a word of it to my husband. Michael used to be a skateboarding fanatic back when he was a kid and I just knew that he was going to love getting the chance to ride the Rockboard...and HE DID! As soon as he took it out of the box, he commented on how well-made and solid this scooter was, then proceeded to ride it right through the middle of our house. I loved how it comes FULLY ASSEMBLED, so that you're ready to roll, right out of the box!
The versatile Rockboard Scooter can be used for cruising as a kick scooter or unleashed to pick up the pace with its advanced Rockboard Propulsion Technology. The faster you rock up and down on the platform, the faster it goes! After you leave everyone else in the dust, you can fold up the Rockboard Scooter for easy storage and transportation. The Original Rockboard Scooter stands at an adjustable handlebar height of 48 inches, weighs in at 20.8 pounds and is available in White, Orange, Blue and Pink.
I was thrilled with how easy the Original Rockboard Scooter was to ride. I thought I'd be falling all over the place the first few times, but I was a pro almost from the start! Some of my favorite features were:
- Hand brake (just like the kind on a bicycle and JUST as essential!)
- This scooter goes up to 10 mph (see aforementioned hand brake feature
) - Kickstand (even though it folds flat, you can use the kickstand to keep it up and ready while on the move)
- Eco-friendly mode of transportation (you can travel short distances quickly and easily)
