Review - How to Use Personalized Labels to Secure Your Child's Possessions

Mabel's LabelsIf you have young children, then you've probably been amazed at just how quickly they manage to lose things.  Brand new jackets, books, backpacks, toys and the like can somehow magically vanish while in their possession.

Back to school shopping usually costs a pretty penny and no one wants to have to replace the new supplies just purchased within the first few weeks or months of school.  With a little careful planning and a package of personalized labels, you can stylishly secure your children's belongings, thus saving you money in the long run.

I reviewed the Ultimate Back to School Combo from Mabel's Labels, which retails for $42.00.

Stay Organized This School Year with Personalized Labels

Mabel's Labels offers a host of personalized labels perfect for tackling any organizational project, but I especially love the options they provide for labeling children's clothing and possessions.  The gals at Mabel's Labels were just like us: frustrated moms fed up with the amount of stuff that leaves the house, yet never returns.  That's why they created labels for the stuff kids lose on a regular basis, like the Ultimate Back to School Combo.

The Ultimate Back to School Combo is a bestselling kit that contains all of the essential personalized labels to get your child's school year started off on the right foot.  These durable, waterproof, UV resistant labels are guaranteed to keep your child's belongings out of the lost and found.  You can choose from 4 limited edition solid color palettes or 40+ multi-colored designs.  The Ultimate Back to School Combo contains the following:

  • 50 Tag Mates, laundry-safe labels designed to stick to clothing care tags.
  • 16 Shoe Labels, waterproof labels to be used on the inside of footwear.
  • 2 Teeny Tags, small metal tags to attach to backpack zippers, pencil pouches and gym bags.

I really enjoyed the cupcake-themed labels included in the Ultimate Back to School Combo from Mabel's Labels.  At first, you might be inclined to think that the price for this package is a little high, but that's only because of the quality and durability of the labels themselves.  The only problem I saw with these labels is that they didn't contain any information beyond a 20-character name.  I wish that the larger labels and the Teeny Tags would have also allowed for contact information to be displayed, such as a phone number or email address. This way, your child's items might successfully be returned to you when found.

Other than that, Mabel's Labels are a great way to quickly and easily identify your child's possessions.  These labels are durable and super cute and should last the entire school year.  If your child's belongings are always pulling a disappearing act, then stop the insanity at once with a set of personalized labels from Mabel's Labels!
