The Custom Cape with Emblem and Initial was so fun to pick out and create on the Powercapes site! First, I decided to make Riley's cape in some of her favorite colors, but to still make it look like Superman's cape by using the Super Shield emblem. There were so many different colors to choose from! They actually carry eleven different colors for just the cape alone! When it came to picking out the colors for the emblem as well as the initial, I was delighted to find that they even carry sparkly options, so as to add that special "eye-catching" touch. (As if going around in your own personalized superhero cape isn't eye-catching enough!

I ordered the Hero (30") length cape for Riley which is a little too big for her now, but I wanted to make sure that she would enjoy this special cape for many, many years to come. I was so happy with the quality of this cape as well as how quickly I received it. Since it was a custom order item, I really expected it to take several months to receive, but it arrived in the mail within a few weeks. The stitching was done beautifully and the colors were so bright and vibrant that any little superhero would love to wear it! I was also glad to find just how light it was, which made it flutter and flap in the breeze quite nicely...another perfect superhero touch. Thankfully, they also chose to secure it around the neck with a sturdy piece of Velcro, so that a child as young as Riley could take it off and on all by herself without any problems.
As you can see from the pictures, Riley is the protector of our outdoor plants and will stop at nothing to fight dry conditions and disease from harming our green citizens. She can bring water to these thirsty beings in an instant, will sing to them when they need cheering up and prune them quickly with her tiny fingers! Now, with her superhero cape from Powercapes, Riley can realize her alter-ego...the Outdoor Avenger!
